DIAMOND Update 2.40.0.0: What’s New and Extended Features

Version 2.40.0.0 of the DIAMOND software introduces numerous new features for chip tuning and repair, with attention to Inverter modules (INVCON2.1) and BMS modules installed on Porsche vehicles with hybrid engines.

This new release extends the support to a wider range of vehicles , allowing programming operations via OBD and Bench on MSE6.0 and US6.0 engine control units , as well as bench operations on MSE8.0 .
In addition, new motorcycle models have been integrated, including Benelli and CF Moto . Both implemented protocols allow access to the ECU map area, thus allowing you to modify engine parameters to improve performance and optimize fuel consumption . To use the MSE6.0 protocol on Benelli motorcycles, a specific 6-pin OBD cable is required.

The protocol for these TCUs is designed to automatically adapt to the unit’s processor, thus reducing the risk of errors during programming. Simply select the correct vehicle brand to obtain connection instructions. If the TCU is damaged, it can be recovered by reading the contents from the memory of the faulty unit and transferring them to a new unit.

Another important novelty concerns the programming of Bosch MG1CS047 engine control units installed on Porsche vehicles . Thanks to the OBD connection , it is no longer necessary to remove the ECU from the vehicle . The new protocol also supports control units produced after July 2020 , currently protected in Bench mode .

Bench and Boot mode programming of Bosch DCU17PC43 Adblue control units, installed on newly produced Ford vehicles . Flash and EEPROM memories can be accessed, allowing complete recovery of damaged units.

Additional features include access to Bosch EDC17C45 engine control units on Nissan and Renault vehicles and support for MG1 China control units on Asian vehicles such as ChangAn UNI-K and Cirelli 5 , equipped with 1.5L and 2.0L turbocharged petrol engines.

This update confirms DIAMOND’s commitment to providing advanced and flexible solutions for electronic programming and repair on a wide range of vehicles.
